What we clean
- Fitted carpets in homes, offices, hotel corridors and communal stairs
- Rugs, including wool and delicate fibres, tested first
- Sofas, armchairs, dining chairs and headboards
- Office chairs and reception seating, often done out of hours
- Mattresses as part of an end of tenancy or deep clean
How the clean works
- Inspection and test. We check the fibre type and any stains, and test the solution on an unseen corner.
- Dry vacuum and pre-treatment. Loose soil out first, then a pre-spray on traffic lanes and spots so the extraction has something to lift.
- Hot water extraction. Heated solution injected into the pile and immediately extracted with the dirt.
- Grooming and drying. Pile reset and air movers where needed. Most carpets are walkable in 2 to 4 hours and fully dry the same day.
Stains and odours
Tea, coffee, red wine, pet accidents, ink and make-up all need a different treatment, and some can be set permanently by the wrong product from the supermarket. Tell us what the stain is and how old it is when you book. We will be honest about what will come out and what will only improve.
Questions we get asked.
How long does the carpet take to dry?
Usually 2 to 4 hours to walk on and fully dry the same day. Leaving windows open or heating on speeds it up.
Is it safe for children and pets?
Yes. The carpets are rinsed during extraction, so no sticky residue is left behind. We recommend keeping pets off until dry.
Do you move furniture?
We move light furniture such as chairs and coffee tables and clean underneath. Heavy items like wardrobes and full bookcases stay where they are.
Will all stains come out?
Most will. Some, such as bleach marks, old dye stains or burns, are permanent damage rather than dirt. We tell you before we start.
